some people don’t understand this because it looks like big boys roughhousing around down there but when they play the replays in slow motion you see all the technique and the balance and the hard work and just how beautiful it all is

Hockey is beautiful. Hockey is a dance. Hockey is a bunch of roughhousing big boys that could beat your ass in figure skating. Hockey is pretty.

Coming from someone that is currently teaching their hockey player boyfriend how to figure skate, no, they could not kick my ass in figure skating. Hockey is beautiful but definitely in a different way than dance or figure skating.
